Craig Rowland specializes in state regulatory matters with Beatty & Wozniak, advocating for our clients before the Wyoming Oil & Gas Conservation Commission and Colorado Energy and Carbon Management Commission. He works closely to obtain administrative approval for drilling activities, advancing clients’ interests in both states while guiding regulatory compliance.
He also advises clients on surface issues, transactions, and environmental regulations. While his primary focus is now on regulatory matters, Craig spent over a decade establishing a foundation in the oil and gas industry as a title examiner on federal and fee lands.
Outside of the office, Craig is an active member of the Denver Association of Professional Landmen, previously serving on the education committee. Craig was born in South Arkansas, grew up in Colorado, and graduated from California Western School of Law before joining the oil patch in Wyoming and Colorado. Outside of the office, Craig enjoys golf, live music, and road trips with his three kids to find the most spectacular views in the West.
