Taryn Hanrahan is a litigation associate at Beatty & Wozniak. She handles civil, regulatory, and appeals cases, delivering strategic help for legal issues related to energy and natural resources.
Before entering private practice, Taryn clerked for Justice David K. Thomson of the New Mexico Supreme Court. In that role, she worked on a broad range of issues, including civil litigation, criminal law, and administrative appeals — an experience that now shapes her analytical approach. Her experience on the other side of the bench helps clients message arguments to ensure they are heard.
Born and raised in Ohio, Taryn earned her J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where she served as Executive Articles Editor for the Case Western Reserve Journal of International Law. She holds a B.A. in Political Science Pre-Law from Ohio University, graduating cum laude with high honors.
When she’s not in the office or the courtroom, Taryn enjoys exploring the outdoors with her husband and their two dogs. Whether it’s hiking, skiing, or camping, she takes full advantage of the beautiful Colorado scenery.
